Mares Insurance Services, LLC ("Mares Insurance," "we," "us") is an independent insurance agency in San Juan Capistrano, California (CA License #4251750). This policy explains what personal information we collect through maresinsurance.com and in the course of quoting and servicing insurance, how we use it, and the choices you have.

Information we collect

• Insurance information you provide for a quote or policy, such as property addresses and details, vehicles and drivers, business details, current coverage, closing dates, and lender or escrow information.
• Information from others when needed to quote or service a policy, such as insurance companies, lenders, escrow officers, and, through insurance companies, driving records or claims history reports.
• Website data collected automatically, such as browser type, device information and pages visited, through our website host and embedded services (for example, Google Maps on our Contact page, and the public lookup services our auto quote form uses to fill in your city and vehicle models).

We do not ask for Social Security numbers, driver’s license numbers or payment information through website forms or email.

Security and retention

We use reasonable administrative, technical and physical safeguards to protect personal information. We keep quote requests that don’t become policies for 3 years, and policy records as long as required by law and insurance regulations.

Children

Our website is not intended for children under 16, and we don’t knowingly collect their personal information online.
